I discovered Kairosoft games a couple years ago and since then I have obsessivley bought and played every game they have released. I've always been obsessed with simulation/managment games (Papa games, stardew, sims, simcity, foodtruck pup, etc.) since I could remember, which is weird because I hate doing any work in real life but there's something about managing a virtual shop or controlling a character that has become soooo addicting.

Kairosoft is just one of the game developers that creates games that are so PERFECTLY up my alley that I cannot help but dedicate an entire page to them. The pixel art is the first thing that pulled me in. I was looking for a cute life simulation game to play on my phone and while looking, I came across 'Dream House Days'.

In this game you basically have to manage an apartment complex where you have to furnish the rooms for your tenants. Once you've got residents, you have to maintain their happiness by keeping an eye on their jobs, romantic relationships, hobbies, etc. The residents can even fall in love and have families (sadly no gay relationships).

I remember playing this game for HOURRSS, the game mechanics are so addictng and I can't really explain why I find it so satisfying. I think the aspect of micromanaging little bits of a business scratches an itch in my brain, like keeping track of their jobs, making combos with different furniture, leveling their hobbies up, increasing their stats, just small stuff like that make me love the game.

Their games can have varying game mechanics and so picking a favourite would more so have to do with your own personal taste rather than if the game is good or not. But there are some popular favourites.

I think they have around like 60 games and out of those my personal favourites in no particular order are :

1. Bonbon Cakery

2. Cafe Master Story

3. Doraemon's Dorayaki Shop Story

4. Sushi Spinnery

5. Dream House Days

6. Pocket Acadmey 3
