First (sort of) design
Date: January 11, 2024

This isn't exactly the very first design of my website because I dont have a picture of my first inital design but this version is the first where I actually layout a navigation bar for the content I want to add!

My initial attempts at a site was really just about playing around with html and css to see what I could conjure up while for this one, I was content with the layout and was planning on touching it up so I could actually host it. I never actually went with it because as I played around with css more, I started to understand what type of "vibe" I wanted my site to have, and it definetly wasn't this one.

There are some pages here that I don't have included in my most recent version such as "sanctum page" and "blogspace", that's just because they were a little too personal and contained cringy fangirling and oversharing that I didn't want to have available to the public.

2nd version
Date: July 3rd, 2024

This version sat around in vscode for a bit before I decided to get back into designing my website. I liked how colourful it was and wanted to add more to it so I stuck with it even though I struggled to fill in the spaces. I removed some of the content tabs that I was no longer interested in incorporating in my site but I added other tabs that I end up removing in the current version.

Food log contained day to day tracking of what I ate. Link collection was supposed to be a collection of every link that I would often go to or found interesting.

I finally understood how I wanted to express my self, and I was pretty surprised to see how colourful it turned out despite how I'm seen in person. I wanted my site to "taste" sweet but also nostalgic to me. I still wasn't that good at html and css hence the struggle being shown through the awkward cherry and walkman png's, but I was getting a hang of organizing divs into coloumns/rows + whatever size I wanted.

Current Version

I'm not sure if I'm ever going to change up the current design, not because I'm super satisfied with the way it looks but rather I'm too lazy to go through the process of organizing the ridiculous amount of divs I unnecessarily used. I do like the way it looks though and I'd be content with leaving it the way it is. I can't think of any other way I would like to organize my page.

All my content tabs are on one side, including my mood, currents and some decorative pngs. On the far right column, I have a little "webmasters note" (doesn't have much use), an update-log that I have become too lazy to update, a poll, and a to-do list. This layout was just super satifying, having everything bundled onto one page with little scrollabe divs scattered around, secret pages + buttons and a breif 'about me' in the middle.

I love the fruity colours that were used and I feel like I achieved the "tasty" website I wanted!
